Imposter Marketer can't afford Therapist or Unemployment, Begins a Satire Newsletter
He didn't think that the rant would get 90 subscribers in a day. Or any damn day.
According to The Bearable Places To Work survey, 5 out of 7 weekends end in frustration for the average marketer. For the below-average marketer, the data shows, it’s actually 7 out of 7.
On one of the 7 weekends, this SaaS Marketer had enough. He needed either therapy, or vacation, or a couple of shots, or a life. He had an option of neither. Hence, he just fired up literally the first newsletter service he could find and started this.
It became an outlet for all his unsent emails to his boss, the board member, colleagues, and at times, the press.
“For few months straight, no one cared. I expected that. I didn’t care about anyone as well. And then one day, a small-time pseudo-influencer, put it out in the public. At once, there was a flood (read - trickle) of subscribers - 90 of them - coming-in every 20 mins on so. (I mean the speed of subscribing was so slow, I had the time to check the notification for each and every subscriber. Yes, even yours.)” The writer of the newsletter was found writing the quote.
So, where does it go from here? He doesn’t know.
He has created a fake-axx LinkedIn profile though if you want to stay connected for more than the occasional emails.

I mean, he doesn’t care. But, whatever.
