Enterprise SaaS Demand Gen team does 2 webinars a quarter. Demands overtime.
They achieved double the KPIs in the same period.
It came as a rude surprise to the senior management at Debacle, an enterprise SaaS firm from Denver, that their demand generation team wasn’t doing the work under a sheer sense of responsibility but something else.
Debacle, a company that builds products for other enterprise firms to measure the time wasted on the outdated UX of enterprise SaaS companies, was ecstatic when they saw the demand generation team working on 2x of the usual speed and workload.
“The unprecedented times were totally unprecedented. I mean our emails were finding people well. What else did we need! But then we thought we will push the team hard. Were we happy doing one webinar a quarter? Maybe. Are we happier doing 2 webinars this quarter? I am not sure. But something that I am totally sure, is that we are overworked. And I am not going to take it sitting down. I will stand up for this - as soon as I am done with my chai-tea and this gluten-free, fat-free, free-free donut.” Michael Scarn, director of demand generation, Debacle shared his concern on the matter.
